The Tibbals Learning Center at The Ringling immerses visitors in the history, artistry and spectacle of the American circus. The 30,600-square-foot expansion doubles the Ringling Circus Museum’s exhibit space, creating an engaging look at the performers, craftsmanship and behind-the-scenes work that shaped The Greatest Show on Earth®.

Nassal produced shop fabrication drawings then fabricated and installed more than 12,000 square feet of exhibits. Period façades, detailed dioramas, carved stucco, scenic treatments, interactive kiosks, graphics and specialty props build a richly layered environment where circus history unfolds throughout the galleries.

At the center of the experience is the Howard Bros. Circus Model, surrounded by exhibits that reveal the remarkable coordination required to move an entire circus across the country. Interactive displays and immersive settings capture both the scale and imagination of this American tradition, giving visitors a closer look at the people, animals and operations behind the show.
