Unlike a traditional museum exhibit, Walking with Buddha at Ngong Ping 360 unfolds as a personal journey. Visitors move through a series of immersive environments inspired by the life of Siddhartha Gautama, encountering moments of reflection, discovery and transformation that reveal the teachings and philosophy that continue to influence millions around the world.

Nassal contributed scenic fabrication and themed environmental elements that support the attraction’s unique blend of storytelling and multimedia technology. Rather than focusing on artifacts alone, the experience relies on carefully choreographed spaces, lighting effects and interactive moments to guide guests through key chapters of Buddha’s path to enlightenment. Each environment was designed to create an emotional connection while supporting the attraction’s educational and cultural mission.

One of the attraction’s most recognizable features is a 12-foot-tall translucent Buddha statue that serves as both a symbolic and visual centerpiece. Guests can write their wishes and prayers on Bodhi leaves before presenting them to the statue, triggering a dramatic lighting sequence that transforms the space. This interactive experience creates a memorable moment of participation, encouraging visitors to engage with the attraction on a more personal level.
