The Orlando Science Center invites visitors of all ages to explore science through hands-on discovery, play and experimentation. Reopened in 1997, the 207,000-square-foot facility expanded to six times the size of the original and introduced new experiences that make topics like space, physics and engineering approachable and engaging.

Nassal produced shop fabrication drawings then fabricated and installed 9,000 square feet of exhibits, including Cosmic Tourist: Earth & Beyond, Power Station, Physics Park and Kids Town. Each environment creates a different way to learn, from exploring the solar system and Earth to experimenting with electricity, magnetism and the physical laws behind structures.

For younger explorers, Kids Town turns learning into active play with opportunities to climb a tree, crawl underground and discover how everyday things work. Together, these experiences make the Orlando Science Center a place where curiosity leads the way and science becomes something visitors can experience for themselves.
