Tucked among Discovery Cove’s winding waterways, waterfalls and tropical landscapes, Explorer’s Aviary offers guests the chance to slow down and experience wildlife from a different perspective. Here, colorful birds soar freely through a lush environment where every pathway encourages exploration, observation and connection with nature.

Nassal completed the fabrication and installation of custom rockwork, themed bridges and decorative handrails throughout the aviary, helping shape the attraction’s natural character. These features were carefully integrated into the landscape to create a seamless journey through the habitat while complementing the surrounding vegetation, waterways and animal environments.

Working alongside the project team, Nassal also coordinated the incorporation of animal enclosures and habitat features that support both guest interaction and the daily needs of the aviary’s residents. The result is an environment that feels organic and unobtrusive, allowing hundreds of birds to thrive within a setting inspired by tropical ecosystems around the world.

Rather than viewing wildlife from a distance, visitors become part of the experience as they walk among free-flying birds and participate in close-up feeding opportunities. The attraction transforms a simple stroll through an aviary into a memorable encounter that encourages curiosity, appreciation and a greater understanding of the natural world.
