Nassal provided design-build services for Discovery Point at SeaWorld San Antonio, creating immersive above-water and underwater environments that bring guests closer to marine life through themed experiences, custom habitat design and engaging visitor spaces. Designed to enhance one of the park's most unique animal encounters, the project combined scenic fabrication, themed construction and detailed environmental storytelling to create a cohesive coastal destination.

Beneath the surface, Nassal developed a dynamic underwater habitat featuring custom rock formations inspired by the rugged beauty of Polynesian islands. The environment was enhanced with a vibrant coral reef constructed from individual Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) coral elements, creating a realistic and colorful marine setting that supports the exhibit's educational and immersive goals.

Above water, Nassal crafted an enhanced dolphin viewing experience with custom themed elements designed to complement the underwater environment. The scope included faux wood beams and pylons, a dramatic rock waterfall, structural rockwork, an artificial beach area and epoxy-sculpted handrails designed to resemble natural vines. Each feature was carefully integrated to create a seamless transition between guest spaces and animal habitats while delivering long-term durability in a high-traffic theme park environment.

Located within SeaWorld San Antonio, Discovery Point offers guests the opportunity to observe bottlenose dolphins, explore Dolphin Underwater Viewing and experience Explorer's Reef, home to a variety of sharks, exotic fish and living coral reef habitats. Through expert themed construction, custom rockwork, scenic fabrication and immersive environmental design, Nassal delivered an engaging marine attraction that enhances guest interaction, supports animal habitats and creates memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.
