Created as a premium game-day destination for UCF Athletics, the Carl Black & Gold Cabana transforms a traditional stadium hospitality space into an immersive Florida-inspired retreat. Located along the east side of Spectrum Stadium, the venue blends custom theming, architectural enhancements and elevated amenities to deliver a distinctive experience for fans, alumni and guests.

Nassal completed a variety of themed enhancements and custom fabrication elements throughout the project, including specialty finishes, architectural features and environmental details that reinforce the cabana’s relaxed coastal character. Theme painting was applied throughout the space, from interior walls and restrooms to columns, railings and mechanical equipment, creating a cohesive visual identity that ties the venue together.

To further enhance the environment, Nassal fabricated and installed a custom steel awning, cast concrete drink rails and a custom entrance sign that establishes a strong sense of arrival. The team also transformed exposed structural elements with custom FRP column covers designed to resemble weathered wood pilings, adding texture and authenticity while complementing the outdoor setting. Custom UCF-themed graphics and furnishings helped strengthen the connection to the university while creating an energetic atmosphere on game day.

The result is a hospitality environment that feels more like a destination than a stadium club. Thoughtful detailing, immersive finishes and carefully crafted gathering spaces work together to create a memorable setting where fans can celebrate, connect and enjoy the excitement of UCF football from a unique perspective.
